New (and like new) Restaurants at Punta Cana

Club Med Punta Cana will close in September 2007 for a total makeover of the main pool, bar area and the restaurants. The two main restaurants, Samana and Hispaniola will undergo full renovations and a new restaurant, La Cana will offer intimate evening dining and table service next to the beach.


Samana will close for complete renovation through November 2007. Here is the projected plan for Samana, with before shots and after renderings. Click on any of the images to enlarge them.

A Spa at Punta?

Imagine, the kids finally go to Mini Club, the teens are at the new Passworld and the parents have a chance for the first time in a year to pamper themselves. Yes, Club Med has begun the construction of a full service spa at Punta Cana. The spa will span more than 21,000 feet and will be finished in early Septmeber 2007.

The Ramp Revitalized

On July 09, 2007 Club Med Punta Cana unveiled renovations to its "Passworld"-- The Ramp and a new addition to the teens area--The Lab by Coca Cola. The Lab, or le labo allows teens to mix their favorite syrups to create new sodas in a hip environment.

Club Med is currently developing a total makeover plan to make Club Punta Cana the best family all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean. The Club will announce exact investment amounts and renovations in September. Already scheduled is a spa, suites and additional children's facilities. All to be discussed in the next postings!
